Key points :

Concepts for Timing in restorative yoga

  • Hold each posture for approximately 15 minutes
  • Pause at the end of each posture for 3-5 breaths in a neutral position
  • Leave 5 minutes between postures for pause and set up

Concepts for Sequencing in restorative yoga

  • Start in Supported Bound Angle 
  • Offer variety in postures so the body doesn’t tire (for example, avoid several postures in a row on the back body)
